DiviCom have a new generation of professional MPEG-2 encoders at IBC 1999.
The MV45 includes DiviTrack statistical multiplexing, already familiar to many broadcasters who use the current MV40 encoders, together with the brand new ClearMotion integrated noise reduction system, which uses motion compensated random noise filtering.
DiviCom claim that by integrating the noise reduction process with the encoding process, they can produce much better and more cost-effective results than can be obtained by some of the pre-processing filtering units offered by other manufacturers. The ClearMotion integrated noise reduction system uses 'look ahead' statistics extraction, with a clever process that distinguishes the noise from the motion during the actual encoding process, and it intelligently adapts to apply the proper amount of transparent filtering for any image.
