Model Details
The affordable, four input Kaleido-Quad-HD multi-image display processorhas all of rich display features of the larger Kaleido-Alto-HD (see page 308),
and is designed for monitoring applications demanding fewer inputs. When
combined with inexpensive but high quality LCD monitors, the KaleidoQuad-HD is an excellent alternative to traditional CRT monitors.
Unlike traditional quad-split processors, the Kaleido-Quad-HD provides full
flexibility of sizing and positioning of the HD/SD/Analog video windows.
The processor has 4 auto-sensing HD-SDI/ SDI / Analog Composite video
inputs, and a high quality DVI output with up to 1920 x 1080 pixels
For effective operations in master control, the Kaleido-Quad-HD offers
advanced video and audio probing, including signal black, freeze and
luminance too high, audio presence, overload, mono and out of phase
alarms. The feature-rich display can also include Embedded, AES and Analog
audio level metering, along with Source IDs, tallys, aspect ratio markers, and
clocks/timers.
Up to 3 Kaleido-Quad-HD / Kaleido-Alto-HD processors can be cascaded
to expand the monitoring capacity. An SDI/Composite only version of the
Kaleido-Quad-HD is also available.

The Kaleido-Quad-HD uses the same display technology as the Kaleido-K2
to ensure excellent video quality.
