Extron’s CrossPoint 84 Series switcher are eight input by four output analog RGBS/RGBHV matrix switchers. There are four models in the 84 Series including the 84, 84A, 84HV and 84HVA. The “A” models include two channel, stereo audio (balanced & unbalanced). The HV and non-HV models are identical except that the HV models switch RGB and separate horizontal and vertical sync. All models switch HDTV, component, S-video and composite video. The CrossPoint 84 Series provides the perfect single box solution to simple 200 MHz routing applications. Each input and output is individually isolated and buffered and any input(s) can be switched to any one or all outputs without virtually any crosstalk or signal noise between channels. Housed in a rack-mountable, 3U high, 19" wide enclosure, the CrossPoint 84 Series includes RS-232 capability. The unique advantage of the RS-232 control is the Simple Instruction Set. These instructions are simple to use, easy to read, ASCII command codes. All CrossPoints come standard with the QuickSwitch Front Panel Controller (QS-FPC™) which allows for touch-of-a-button input and output selection directly from the front panel.
