Model Description: Bi-Directional DV to SDI Converter

Model Details

DAC 5 converts SDI video and AES/EBU audio to and from FireWire (IEEE-1394) DV audio/video. The DVITC timecode in the output signal respects the same standard as the one in the input signal.
Select 12 Bit or 16 Bit Audio
Adjusts the audio encoding frequency during an analog capture. Two channels AES/EBU Ch1/Ch2 In and Out thru the D–Sub 15 pin jack.
Dip Switches
Dip switches control the FireWire frequency settings on the converter, NTSC/PAL video standards and DV auto selection.
Analog: Video Monitoring
Monitor your video in Composite, Component or S–Video.
Analog: Audio
There are two channels (RCA connectors) to monitor Audio output RCA terminals (unbalanced). For balanced audio, use the BAC–03 audio accessory or connect through the DB15 connector.
Analog: Blackburst Output
Use this blackburst output to lock a Betacam deck to the DAC–10.
