Designated the Pro-Cache610 model, this speedy version swaps the standard ExpressCard slot for a 10GbEthernet NIC (Network Interface Card) providing dual 10GbE RJ-45 connections. Perfect for the emerging affordable 10GbE network infrastructure switches and routers, this model breaks through the old one Gb network speed limits, allowing transfers at or near tape speed.

SIMPLIFY VIDEO ARCHIVING

Drag & Drop Archiving

Pro-Cache and Power-Cache appliances provide their own network share containing a folder that you can simply drop content into and the system will move it onto tape. We call this folder the VTAPE and it shows up natively in the network file system on both Mac and PC. Map the archive share permanently for easy access.

Staged Archiving

ProMAX Archive Appliances include RAID storage and a share which can be used to organize your data in a way that will be most useful when you later need to restore it. This could mean gathering files such as scripts, graphics, source footage, project files etc. These assets can then be organized into appropriately named folders and even QC’d prior to archiving.

Archiving from Network Storage Systems (SAN / NAS)

Network storage systems such as ProMAX Platform host shares which can be mounted to ProMAX Archive Appliances. Once mounted, they are easily accessible for users to copy content to LTO tapes. Many other SAN/NAS systems will also work with ProMAX Archive Appliances, contact us for a complete list of support systems.

Archiving from Direct Attached Hard Drives & Card Readers

Attached Drives/RAIDs and Camera Card Readers can be connected via USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and eSATA so that content can be moved directly to LTO Tape or Staged on the Share. Most direct attached file systems appear in the user interface as soon as they’re connected and just a simple drag-and-drop is needed to copy content securely to LTO tape.
