Model Details
For those applications that require a camera capable of capturing images using the "invisible" light spectrum, Sony's new XCD-SX910UV near ultraviolet, high resolution, digital video camera is the answer. The XCD-SX910UV camera is equipped with all the new functionality found in Sony's new XCD-SX910 camera PLUS a new CCD with improved sensitivity (~200nm versus ~230nm) compared to the XCD-SX900UV camera. The new XCD-SX910UV is a black and white C-mount camera that has sensitivity in the near-UV area (200 to 380 nm). Incorporating a 1/2 type IT Progressive Scan UV CCD, the XCD-SX910UV captures clear images of minute surface details when used with UV illumination systems. Like Sony's XC-EI camera series, the XCD-SX910UV has a broad spectral response and can be easily combined with different filters for specific applications (e.g., UV only pass filter for UV imaging applications).Inheriting all the excellent features of the XCD-SX910, this new UV digital camera has an IEEE 1394 digital interface, producing new levels of precise and detailed images. In addition, its one-piece design with high shock and vibration tolerance makes the XCD-SX910UV ideal for use in demanding semiconductor inspection, ultraviolet microscopy, FA precision inspection and surface inspection applications.
