The BR-DV600E is a DV recorder/player ideal for interfacing with virtually any editing system whether linear or non-linear. Its IEEE 1394 in and out allows direct computer/NLE connectivity. It digitally spools directly to a non-linear editing platform and downloads directly back to video tape with no loss of quality.
