General Information For Shipping

General information to remember when shipping your equipment:

1) P.P.## or RMA## reference is required on ALL incoming packages. Others will be REJECTED.

2) Package your equipment according to its size and weight.
Equipment weighing over 60 LBS should be in a double wall box or doubles boxed. Always allow 2" - 4" for good packing material for shock prevention. Equipment such as BVH 2000,GV300 Systems and DVR 18 should be crated unless the original packing cartons are available.

3) Equipment must be protected from certain types of packing material entering the equipment. Packing materials such as foam peanuts can cause damage to the equipment.

4) Include all accessories? (Cables, A/C cords, Manuals, etc.)

5) A declared value is important unless you have already obtained transportation insurance.

6) If equipment is received damaged you will be notified, it will then be your responsibility to notify your freight company in order to file a damage claim

7) Damage Claims: Freight damaged due to insufficient packing will be denied by the freight forwarder

• Dimensions (Height, Width &Depth).
• True weight - the weight figurers you are providing with accessories and shipping carton or unit net.
• Unit value for customs and insurance.
• Are the units crated, on pallets, in cartons or unboxed?
• Destination and point of origin is required by ALL freight companies to provide BCS accurate estimates, more efficient service and to allow us to properly research competitive rates.
• Priority of shipping.
• Mode of transport: air, deferred, ground, boat, etc.
• For shipments going to Canada or Mexico, a Federal Tax Identification Number or an Import License must be obtained from your client.
