Sony's DNW75 is a studio model editing Betacam SX VTR featuring digital-only recording and playback capabilities. The unit also features a full compliment of analog and digital audio and video I/Os, including SDI and AES/EBU. Other features include frame-accurate editing on Betacam SX tape and exceptional control and quality.

• Frame-Accurate Video/Audio Insert Editing: Enables insert and assemble editing with the ±0 frame accuracy; this enables precise editing on Betacam SX tape in machine-to-machine or A/B roll configurations.
• Pre-Read Editing: Enables simple A/B roll effects using only two machines.
• Variable Playback: The DNW-75 offers -1/+2 playback range with Dynamic Motion Control.
• Good Shot Marker Support: Allows for added efficiency to editing by recognizing shot information entered during the acquisition process.
• High Speed Picture Search: The DNW-75 incorporates high-speed shuttle search and achieve recognizable picture search at up to ±50 times on the Betacam SX mode.
• Remote Front-Panel Option: The DNW-75 Remote Front Panel option allows for convenient and flexible machine operation.
